Queen Mary Long Beach

The Queen Mary docked in Long Beach in 1967 and has been there ever since. In 1971 after a three year conversion the huge passenger liner was opened as a tourist attraction. After several successful years the crowds of visitors thinned out and the ship ran into troubled waters. For a short period of time the Queen was even closed. Today the ship is being operated by Save the Queen Group which has
