St. George Reef Lighthouse

About about eight miles northwest of Crescent City lies another lighthouse, St. George Reef. This one is a littler harder to get to since it is on a rocky Island out in the Pacific Ocean. The light was lit for the first time on October 20, 1892 and continued to shine until 1975 when it was abandoned. To view the St. George Reef Lighthouse from land, go north on the road that hugs the coast in
