Avilia Beach Pier

In 2000 Avila Beach had a major renovation after the town was nearly destroyed by a huge oil spill. New construction includes a boardwalk and beachfront park. The pier remains the same and is a favorite location for fishing. The primary fish here is white croaker. Avila had the highest fish-per-angler average of any pier in the central coast area.
